Founded in 2007 by Sára László, Marcell Gerő and Tamás Dobos, Campfilm is a small, fresh and ambitious independent production company based in Budapest, Hungary. In the three years of its existence it has completed several short documentary and fiction projects, commercials and music videos and is currently in the production of two documentaries in collaboration with different television channels and of a short fiction in coproduction with France. We are also developing three feature length documentaries and two feature length fiction movies.
All three founders graduated from the Academy of Film and Drama in Budapest and are eager to mix the tradition of Hungarian filmmaking with new trends from around the world.
